Vadodara / Anand: Agricultural University Anand (AAU) has signed the MoU with the Dhirubhai Ambani Institute of Information and Communication Technology (DA-IICT), Gandhinagar, for collaboration in the fields of education, research, and training in agricultural domains.
The MoU will open the way for inter-institutional and multidisciplinary collaboration on conceptualization, creating and conducting an innovative two-year master’s degree program in agricultural analytic.
This agreement aims to design and hold degrees for undergraduate and postgraduate students in the field of fruitful collaboration.
“We will focus on teaching, carry out research projects, guiding students in research, especially in areas such as artificial intelligence and engine learning,” said an official.
“The MoU aims to promote seminars, workshops, and meetings held together.
To facilitate faculty exchanges and research research in relevant teaching and research programs,” he said.
For the implementation of the two-year Masters degree program proposed in agricultural analytics, Da-IICT and AAU have formed a joint committee who also has members of the Indian Institute of Remote Sensing (IIR), Dehradun.
The joint committee will plan, design, and complete the program.
“This program will be in line with national education policies by facilitating the fields of multi-disciplinary and multi-institutions such as agriculture and analytics,” said the representative of Chancellor Aar KB Kathiria.
“In changing times, the use of analytics in the agricultural domain is almost invisible.
However, in a non-agricultural domain, it is highly practiced,” he said, emphasizing that the PG program about agricultural analytic was unique of its kind at the national level.
