Haveri: The Covid-19 case surged across the country especially in Bengaluru where the case had doubled in the last two days.
Country capital reported 356 cases on December 28, 566 at 29, and 707 cases on December 30.
At the same time, the number of active cases in Haveri Regency has dropped to zero for the third time in the last 21 months in the last 21 months.
The last case was reported on December 23 and the patient was dismissed on December 29.
This district has zero active case twice during the second wave of Covid and once during the first wave.
Along with Haveri, Gadag also has zero active case now.
Haveri District has not reported a single Covid-19 case until May 4, 2020.
But in the following month, Haveri has 21 cases when migrants return home from neighboring countries and other countries.
Now, all Covid government hospitals, Covid care centers, and private Covid hospitals have been temporarily closed because there are no active cases.
Administration has improved the target of 1,500 tests per day and has a plan to increase it to 2,500 per day.
