Bajrang Dal activist allegedly searched the third series of the web series ‘ashram’ here and also threw ink in his producer Prakash Jha, accused him of describing Hindus with the wrong, police said.
The windshield of two bus crew was also damaged in throwing stones, they said.
In addition, Bajrang Dal threatened that it would not allow further web series shooters.
Speaking with PTI, police supervisor (SP), Bhopal South, Sai Krishna Tota, said that several people filed objections and protested on behalf of the web series when shooting was taking place in a prison spot located in PARER HILLS.
“Bajrang activists dal objections that this web series hurts Hindu sentiments because it contains obscene scenes,” he said.
The protesters also threw ink on the prakash jha and pelted the stones, the officer added.
Thota said that the two bus windshield was damaged by stingy stones and one person was injured.
He said it immediately after the incident, police personnel reached the place and brought the situation under control.
No one was arrested in this case so far, he said.
Activist Bajrang Dal also raised the slogan against Prakash Jha and Bollywood actor Bobby Deol, who was in the main role in the Ashram series, accused them of hurting Hindu sentiments, eyewitnesses.
Talking to reporters, Bajrang Dal’s Convener Sushil Surhele said that organizational activists would not allow the shooting of ‘ashram’ in Bhopal.
“Prakash Jha misunderstood the arrangements in the Hindu ashram in the previous season by showing the exploitation of women by the teacher.
There is already an ashram in Sanatan Dharma since thousands of years that play an important role in building social values.

Talking to reporters, Deputy Inspector General (digging) Irshad Wali said strict actions would be taken against those involved in the incident.
