Kolkata: BJP on Tuesday said that the head of the West Bengal Minister Mamata Banerjee had to discuss the reasons behind the flood of the vast part of the country rather than writing to Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Jharkhand Central Officials of neighbors.
The BJP National Vice President was pounded by Ghosh told the press meeting in Kolkata that the flood situation in a large stretch in the Central and West Central Districts, Hooghly and Howrah had deteriorated for years because they did not act from the Trinamool Congress in the last 10 years and left.

“What does Mamata Banerjee do in addition to blaming the flood center? Where crores rupees are sent by the Center and international funding agency to do dredging canals go away? There is poor maintenance by the State Irrigation Department,” he said.
“He only conducted an air survey, blamed DVC and the center and wrote a letter to PM.
His official wrote to their central counterparts, to the Jharkhand government.
What can the Jharkhand government do in this matter? He must discuss the reasons for flooding in Bengal,” Comments Ghosh.
Banerjee accused the DVC to release excess water from the obstacles after heavy rain last week without information at night.
Water thrown by DVC has claimed life and influenced lakh people, he said and demanded dredge of obstacles and Jharkhand government dams.
Ghosh in turn accused Banerjee took steps such as writing to the government of Prime Minister and Jharkhnd only to divert attention from his failure to overcome the annual flood.
Ghosh said he did not oppose TMC rushed his delegation to another part of the country after a political interest incident, “but they (TMC) must remember how they prevent opposition leaders like them from BJP when they go to the brutal witnessed place.
