Mysuru: MySuru on Thursday recalled Mahatma Gandhi’s visit to the city of Prince in 1927.as part of the event organized by the District Administration, MySore City Corporation, Seshadripuram Pre-University College in the memory of Gandhi’s visit on August 21, 1927 in the city of Hall, Mysuru District In-Charge Minister of St.
Somashekar Felsicated Gandhians B Lingaiiah, YC Revanna, Rangashetty, T Puttanna and Shashikala.Speaking on that occasion, Karnataka Gandhi Bhavan Former President V Krishna remembered that Gandhi visited Prince Mysuru countries.
Gandhi visited Bengaluru in 1915 following the Writer D V Gundappa invitation.
He returned to visit Nandhi Hills in 1927 to receive treatment and in 1934 for a fundraising ceremony for the welfare of the Dalits.
He said Mahatma Gandhi was influenced by Mysuru and had forced it as a progressive country.
“Gandhi, throughout his life, struggled to build a society that was not cruel, believed and promoted secularism, worked hard for the unity, integrity and progress of the community.
Gandhi is a godly, spiritual, selfless, unbreaky, preaching love and affection, Universal brotherhood throughout his life, “he said.

“But he received a civilian reception at the City Hall organized by the city council of MySuru,” he said.
During his visit to the city, Gandhi, who also struggled to eradicate the caste system, visited Adikarnatakapura and renamed Ashokapuram.
He also visited K R R Mills to improve labor complaints.
Gandhi also advocates the unity of Hindu languages for the progress of the nation, he explained the chairman of NV Perennis Phanesh present.
