Mysuru: Those who want to adopt animals at the Karnataka Zoo have to come out more than next year.
The revised level will take effect since January 1.
The decision to revise the tariff was taken by the zoo during the 149th Administrative Board meeting on December 15.
The last time the adoption fee was revised was in February 2012.

Less visitors in 2020 because of a pandemic.
This has caused a steep decrease in gate collection through tickets.
To maintain a zoo, buy good food and medical care for animals, zoos rely more on donations from animal lovers and donors.
The authority of the Karnataka Zoo (ZAK) also launched a Karnataka Zoo to collect online contributions and facilitate adoption of animals.
BP member secretary Ravi said that, given the increase in medical, food and administrative costs, donation rates had been revised.
“Animal lovers can adopt any zoo animals for one year or even one day by paying fees,” he said.
According to the revised rate for adoption, plate remains based on animal species under diamonds.
