Vadodara: Harapan for a better future is an interesting student from Afghanistan who torn war to Gujarat.
Records of the high number of students from Afghanistan, which currently face the worst humanitarian crisis, have been looking for entrance tickets to the University of Gujarat’s English Medium – University M this year.
This year’s university has received 852 applications of foreign students to be transferred through the Council of India for Cultural Relations (ICCR).
Of these, 557 applications have been confirmed to enter for the academic year 2021-22.
“Of the total 557 applications, as many as 160 applications are Afghani students who are looking for entrance tickets in our faculty.
Usually, the number of foreign students who seek more from African and Bangladesh countries.
This is for the first time we witnessed the number of applications to enter from Afghani students, “said Professor Dhanesh Patel, director of the International Office (OIA).
A number of agencies have grown in Afghanistan to help students who are looking for in Indian universities because of low living costs, scholarships, familiarity with the country’s culture and language, visas that are easily obtained and the use of English in class.
“Over the years, our hostel infrastructure offered to foreign students has also increased.
The students who fainted from here acted as our ambassador.
We also helped them with the registration process for foreign regional registration offices and found host families,” Patel said .
MSU itself regained his diversity after decades.
“We already have 156 foreign students who register with us.
We have confirmed the acceptance of 125 students whose applications are diverted through ICCR and 41 other students who fund themselves.
In total, we have 322 foreign students who have registered this academic year which is the highest in Several times, “said Patel.
The University hopes that this year might touch a new record from 500 foreign students because there are nearly 300 applications that are currently in process, and more flowing in.
Interestingly, many foreign students look for entrance tickets in trade and science as regardless of traditional art favorite, performing arts and art.
Now, there are students who have registered for the PhD program in Engineering, Trade, Pharmacy, Science and Arts.
