Afraid of Virus: OHRC Turns Off Office Up to Jan 25

Bhubaneswar: The Office of the Odisha Human Rights Commission (OHRC) will remain closed until January 25 after several staff are found positive Covid.
“During this period, very urgent things in nature will only be taken to hear through virtual mode.
For urgent hearing such as the applicant can contact a number of private secretary phones to the OHRC chairman.
Complaints / Petitions can be submitted via an official email OHRC @ NIC.

Things that are urgent can be taken / heard after obtaining permission from the Chairperson of the Odisha Human Rights Commission.

Pradipta Rights Activist Nayak and Biswapriya Canungo on Monday filed a petition before the commission after the human rights team was stopped from visiting Dhinkia on a factinding mission on suspicion of atrocities against peaceful demonstrators.
