New Delhi: Audi India kicked his electrifielian trip on Thursday with the launch of the All-Electric SUV series, E-Tron with the initial price of Rs 99.99 Lakh (former showroom).
German car makers are the third luxury brand to enter the sunrise sector and currently face Mercedes-Benz EQC and Jaguar I-PACE as the main rivals.
Audi India expects up to 15 percent of its total sales through electric vehicles in 2025 and arranged to launch other EVs at the end of this year.
Globally, Audi aims to have a fully carbon neutral operation in 2050 with 20 electric models circulating in 2025.
Balbir Dhillion, Head of Audi India described the company’s electrification trips as’ marathon, not the current e-tron series imported as a CPU, Audi can produce local models in the future.
