Ranchi / Daltonganj: Jharkhand Tourism Development Corporation (JTDC) on Tuesday saw a massive cancellation of hotel bookings in Jharkhand which was prominent in Jharkhand after the government forbade visitors in tourist attractions, parks, zoos and wildlife until January 15.
In addition, the cancellation, the JTDC Helpline number is flooded with calls since morning from tourists who want to get a refund for the order they cancel.
JTDC officials claim it took almost 70% of his annual income from the order that took place between October and March.
However, with the government forcing a new sidewalk, JTDC officials said their annual income would be devastated for the second year in a row.
Alok Prasad, General Manager JTDC, said: “Following the orders of the state government, we have closed Patratu Lake Resort for visitors until January 15.” Likewise, tourists in Betla National Park are very sad.
With the park where it is closed, many are left in their hotel.
Forest officials said room reservations and dormitories at the guest house have been postponed until January 15.
“We feel sorry for tourists,” Kumar Ashish, Deputy Director of North Division Ptr, told TII.
While many tourists check out from their hotel, many live in their rooms.
“That’s because they have a trip they booked a few days later,” said a source.
Like Betla, tourists also live on Netarhat Hill.
This closure also thwarted a travel plan for many people.
Subhashish Upadhyay, a Dumdum resident in Kolkata, arrived in Ranchi with his family on Tuesday morning.
“I have a plan to visit Dassam and Hundru Falls and Betla’s visit and Netarhat with my wife.
But after arriving here, we know that tourist attractions have been closed.
Now, we have no choice,” said Upadhyay, “Uptadhyay said, “Toi said.
