Varanasi: The State Union Minister for Justice and Social Empowerment, Ramdas Athaware, said that “After the historical decision of Prime Minister Narendra Modi to revoke three agricultural laws, a nervous group of farmers must express their gratitude to PM and end their complaints”.
“Even though agitating farmer groups have no support from all parts of the farmers throughout the country, they deliberately continued their agitation with new demands instead of returning to their homes,” Athaware said when talking to reporters here on Monday.
He said that the farmers who protested could hold a dialogue with the government regarding their other demands, including guarantees that were sought by minimum support prices (MSP).
