Ahmedabad: The health department of Ahmedabad Municipal Corporation (AMC) told 16 new micro detention zones on Thursday, taking the number of zones like that in the city to 120.
Four people, all located in the Western Zone AMC, was removed from detention.

The new detention zone consists of 110 houses with 452 residents.
Five of the new zones are in the North West Zone, which includes areas such as Vastrapur, Bodakdev, Bopal and Thaltej.
The biggest detention zone in terms of residents is the luxury of Aaryan in Bopal.
Four floors with 116 residents have been contained in this community.
The second largest is Anupam Avenue in Maninagar, with 16 houses with 68 residents.
In Bodakdev, 20 houses on the five floors of Block B in Shaligram plus and two houses in Goyal Park Row Houses have been contained.
Those who were expelled from detention including three houses in Sandipani Society teachers in Ambawadi, five houses in Vidyanagar Society at Usmanpura, four houses in the Society in Divyajivan in Chandkheda and five houses in Hariom Bungalows in Chandkheda.
“We have increased testing throughout the city to load the spread of the virus.
Our team also conducts random checks to ensure masks and social distance rules followed.
We are carrying out drive awareness to accelerate the coverage of vaccination,” AMC official said.
