Ahmedabad: Nearly 100 m from where a woman was destroyed by a car driven by Parv Shah with the other two injured, another accident was witnessed when a quick compact car turned turtle after colliding with the BRT corridor fence.
The two friends in the car suffered injuries and rushed to the hospital.
The police identified them as Yash Shah and his cousin.
N Traffic Division Police Inspector B B B Vaghela said the accident took place at 2:30 a.m.
on Friday and they have registered a negligent driving case and is investigating further.
The police said around 2:30 a.m., Yash, who was driving and around 20 years old, lost control over the vehicle and crashed into the fence of the BRTS corridor, after which the car turned a turtle.
Two car residents only suffered a minor injury and were dismissed from the hospital on Friday night.
Vaghela said the accident might occur after Yash might nod to sleep while driving.
The car is registered in the name of Yash’s father.
The police have not arrested Yash.
They did not know why the young men came out at 2:30 a.m.
while there was a midnight night at the city.
A senior police officer said the accident lasted 50 m from the Shivranjani bus to Nehrunagar.
The official said that the vehicle turned left, a tragedy would occur when people slept on the path there.
In another incident that occurred near Hansol on Thursday night, a woman rushed to the hospital after she was hit by a speeding car.
