Ahmedabad: AHMedabad airport is partially closed for at least 9 hours until May 31 because of runway carpet work.
“Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel International Airport has begun runway runway work functioning from January 17 to May 31, 2022.
Except for holidays and Sundays, this work will be carried out from 9am to 6 Sard,” said Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel International Airport.
The work will include the Overlay of the runway, rating rating rating and rating Landay, Assessment (Resa) Assessment and slope, along with stormwater drain construction and reinstalling signaging in the Maneuver area.
“Closure of the maintenance of the runway is a mandatory procedure in line with international safety standards to ensure aircraft security and improve the runway life.
Under the guidance of safety regulators, all related stakeholders have been consulted and given a lot of notifications to revise the schedule to minimize the inconvenience period,” he added.
