Ahmedabad: A 36-year-old woman on Saturday filed a police complaint which stated that his business partner raped him in a luxury hotel in the satellite area.
The woman told the satellite police that her partner promised to marry her but then denied His Word.
Hails complainants from the letter and the man are residents of Rajkot.
Satellite Police Inspector D B Maheta said that complaints of rape under the Indian Code 376 section was registered with Humans Rajkot.
Maheta said the man often visited Ahmedabad and the satellite area was his basis during the tour.
Maheta said that the couple had a physical relationship.
“We collect all the information needed before catching a Rajkot man.” Maheta said.
“He is a partner in the import and export business that begins by both.” According to complaints, the woman has traveled for work in Dubai where she met the man.
In time, both of them fell in love and then returned to Gujarat and started a shared business.
Complaints stated that business problems took him to Ahmedabad regularly and they used to stay at upscale hotels on satellites.
Both have lived in three satellite hotels, according to the initial investigation.
The complainant stated that he recently learned that the man married another woman.
He then approached the satellite police and filed a complaint of rape.
The police said that they would check the hotel records mentioned in complaints to determine whether the couple lived there as stated by the woman.
The police said that so the man was arrested, another police station would also get along, because the couple lived in several hotels in other areas in the city.
Also, CCTV recordings available will be scanned, police said.
The woman has been sent for medical examinations.
