Ahmedabad: A 35-year-old woman from Merhera on Thursday filed a complaint with the Women’s Police Station (Western) alleged that her ordinary husband forced him to have sex and also pressured him to submit a case of fake rape against his brother -Bukum.
The woman stated that she married the defendant, who worked for a private company, in 2006, after which they lived in their place of origin, Bhilwara in Rajasthan.
He said that his father-in-law and her husband demanded money from his parents as soon as marriage.
He alleged that every time he objected to the demands of their dowry, his husband used to struggle.
“We moved to Nashik in February 2014 for a while and then came to the city of Ahmedabad, where my in-laws lived with me,” he said.
He alleged that her husband’s sister fought her husband.
After this, the complainant husband and his brother pressured a complainant to file a complaint of a fake rape against his brother-in-law to teach him the lesson, he said in FIR.
He also alleged that her husband used to impose himself.
“Even though I don’t want to have sex, he used to have sex with me until I start crying,” he said.
The woman said that her husband threatened him to leave if he rejected him having sex and said he would go to another woman.
He said that her husband then had a relationship with another woman, for whom she even liquidated a fixed deposit.
The woman alleged that she had revuled in October 2020 and left her in her parents with their children, 13 and seven.
He finally approached the police and filed a complaint under the violence in the household against him.
