New Delhi: On the 66th Foundation Day on Saturday, the All India Institute of Medical Sciences in New Delhi installed the Vitros dry chemical automatic system that can carry out 50 diagnostic tests and present the results in 2-3 hours.
The automatic dry chemical machine will save around 2 water crore per year.
Minister of Health of Union Mansik Mandaviya digitally inaugurated a high throughput lab where the system was installed in the rack building.

The automated system will significantly reduce the burden of laboratory drugs.

“It will greatly improve patient care, because we will get test results in just three hours,” said Subroto Sinha, HOD, the treatment of Lab and Dean research.
He added that before, the doctor used to work on limited parameters and then the in-depth sample investigation was sent the next day.
Now the doctors can plan their care immediately with the help of this system.
