Mumbai: Testing India Deputy Captain Ajinkya Rakee on Monday asked by the Salil Ankola LED Committee to lead a strong 20-member Mumbai force for the league stage of the Syed Mushtaq T20 trophy – which will begin on November 11.
The opening of Prithvi Shaw, who led the side to the title Trophy Hazare Vijay last season, has been named his representative.
Placed in Elite Group B who saw them playing Karnataka, Services, Bengal, Chhattisgarh and Baroda, Mumbai will play their League stage match in Guwahati from November 4 with Yashasvi Jaiswal, who scored 19 ball fifty recently for Rajasthan Royals against Chennai Super Kings in the IPL was also in their rank, Mumbai, who fell in the Tournament League stage last year before bouncing back to win the Hazare Vijay trophy, is a favorite to win the title.
