Ajmer: City police have damaged the honey gang operating in the Melat region in Rajasthan and Haryana and arrested six suspects.
Gang members used to make fake ID women to lure men on social media and then squeeze them for money.
The gang was also involved in extortion.
The police confiscated a suspect, who was obscene and tweaked the video.
They were produced in court, which sent them to the police back.

Ravish Samaria said a resident of Johns Ganj filed a report stating that he had seen advertisements for personal work and he proposed him.
He was asked to visit the mall at Link Road and the company manager asked him to open a bank account, said Sho.
After youth opened a bank account, the manager took a debit card, checkbook, and another paper and immediately the transaction began in the account, he said.
The Christian Ganj police began investigating and found that gangs became online fraud and extorted money from people.
The modus operandi is simple like a gang opening a false account on behalf of girls and women on various websites and calling using random numbers for friendship.
Anyone who accepts friendship and starts chatting with a fake account operator, released.
When a fake account operator will be sure that the victim has developed trust, he will ask for video chat and record videos while talking.
When the suspects will get videos from the victim, they will change them and turn them into obscene videos and start to squeeze.
The gang then asked the victim to deposit money in a young man’s account, which was appointed by the gang and confiscated debit card.
Sho Samaria said the suspects, Kuldeep (26), Yusuf (25), Mohammad Asif (21), Vakil (25), Jitendra (33), and Sarfaraj (19) came from Alwar, Bharatpur, dearsa, Faridabad, and the Region Melat from Haryana and Rajasthan.
The police have not revealed the names of the victims.
