Udupi: The Minister of State for Union for farmers and the welfare of farmers, Shobha Karandlaje, has said that all the pending projects of the central government in Udupi Regency will be the earliest finish.
During the video conference with officials from the Constituency of Udupi-Chikkamagaluru, represented by the Minister, here on Friday, he said: “Send a list of all projects that require the approval of the central government.
I will discuss with the union ministers concerned to get all the proposals Approved.
“In the Sagar Mala project, the minister said a discussion was held to establish a port in uppunda with an estimated cost of Rs 130 Crore.
Referring to the new central government fisheries policy, he urged people to submit their suggestions to the government.
Shobha directed officials to accelerate the distribution of compensation to the families struck by the monsoon.
“Officials must identify lowland areas and take necessary precautions.
They must be ready to immediately disburse compensation,” he said.
In pandemic, Shobha said all central guidelines, including those at the appropriate behavior of Covid, must be strictly followed.
He directed officials to conduct places in the factory.
“Complete work on new oxygen plants that are being established in rural areas.
Take precautions to prevent viruses spread in rural areas,” he added.
Explaining the fall of natural disasters, especially infrastructure damage, DC G Jagadeesha said the district had caused losses on the RS 110 Crore tone.
This includes RS 99 Crore losses that arise due to sea erosion.
Compensation for detailed proposals has been submitted to the central government.
This district has Rs 11 Crore to provide assistance for those affected by flooding, he explained.
On the possibility of the third wave of pandemic, DC said the district would form 50 ICU bed facilities exclusively for children.
“Drive comprehensive health checks have been launched for the benefit of 2.4 lakh children in the district,” he added.
