Mumbai: Shiv Sena, who runs the coalition government with a congress at Maharashtra, on Sunday said that the resignation of the captain Amarinder Singh from the head of Post Minister in Punjab was the internal problem of the Congress.
“Just as Rupani resigned in Gujarat and it was a BJP internal problem, the punjab problem was the internal problem of the Congress”, said Shiv Sena MP Sanjay Raut.
“I don’t know if there are people who are insulted,” he added.
Amarinder Singh resigned as the main minister and handed over his resignation to the Governor of Banwarilal Purohit on Saturday.
Resignation came ahead of the Congress legislative party meeting organized by party leadership.
Singh served as President of the Punjab Pradesh Congress Committee from 2010 to 2013.
