Chandigarh: Police Punjab immediately attracted the security cover of the former Advocate General Atul Nanda and 19 advisors and OSD former Minister of Main Amarinder Singh and Wife and Patiala MP Preneet Kaur on Wednesday.
In a letter released from the ADGP security office on Wednesday morning, it was clear, “every personnel who failed to report with a certain time marked missed and the department’s action was further initiated accordingly.” The Adgp office is looking for a Compliance Report from the Police Commissioner and the CNS concerned for the security given to the protectee who is in Punjab and from the commander of the 82nd Battalion Police Armed by Punjab in Chandigarh for Protiecte in Chandigarh at 11 am on Wednesday.
Those whose security has been withdrawn include Patiala MP Preneet Kaur’s OSD Honey Sekhon, Amarinder advisor Lt Gen TS Shergill (RETD) (Senior Advisor), Raveen Thukral (Media Advisor), Bharat Inder Singh Chahal (Media Advisor) and Kobi RAM (Security Advisor) ).
The other in the list is the former officer IAS Suresh Kumar (Secretary of Head Head), PCS officers and OSD G S Sodhi, political secretary Parminder Pal Singh Mann and Gurmehar Singh Sekhon, and Vimal Press Secretary.
