Visakhapatnam: Andhra University has launched 12 large open online courses (MOOC) in several fields of study.

Courses offered by Andhra University range from ‘global and economic business environments’ and ‘information technology for business’ for ‘finance for non-finance professionals’ and ‘work readiness modules’.

PVGD Prasad Reddy said because of the ongoing Covid-19 pandemic, the learning management system had moved online and further into the MOOCS domain.
“The purpose of this initiative is to maintain students’ competence in online learning in accordance with their choice and in accordance with national education policy.
University of Andhra has designed 12 MOOC-based needs in the first phase.
MOOCS can facilitate online learning from various universities in various countries,” said Prof.
Prasad Reddy.
Representatives Chancellor added that each Mooc offered by the University of Andhra contained a minimum of 30 hours online instructions with relevant e-learning resources.
“Registration into these courses is offered for free to enrich students’ knowledge, regardless of their regular study program.
After completing the course, the University will conduct an online check and issue a certificate to students who are eligible.
