Berlin: Chancellor Angela Merkel will visit West Germany who has been flooded on Sunday, where the worst rainfall in life memory has caused great destruction and leaving more than 130 people dead, regional officials said.
Merkel will travel to the rushed Schuld city in the state of Rhineland-Palatinate, a regional ministry spokesman for AFP on Saturday, confirming previous media reports.
