Vadodara: The video of an ant crawling in the mouth of a woman received at Covid Icu from the SSG Hospital (SSGH) has become a viral.
The video was recorded by a woman’s husband when she went to see her on Thursday morning.
The 47-year-old woman was a resident of Jambusar in the Bharuch District and had many health complications.
He tested the positive Covid-19 when taken for treatment to SSGH and was treated in the Covid ward.
When her husband went to visit him, he recorded a video of his conversation with the patient.
Right now he pays attention to ants in his mouth and recording video.
In other videos, her husband seemed to interact with the staff present in the ICU.
While the person he said was a nurse expressed sympathy with him, he also said that because SSGH was not a private hospital, they should make some adjustments there.
The staff even told the husband that caring for patients was not only their responsibility, but also from relatives.
This is despite the fact that relatives are not permitted in the Covid ward.
The man said that his wife rushed to Bharuch from Jambusar for care after paralyzed attacks.
“We took him to Vadodara for better care on July 11.
He found a positive Covid here and admitted in Ward Covid,” he said.
He said that enough patient care was not taken in the ward.
“I used to go to Ward once a day.
I won’t be able to do it now because I will not be allowed inside again,” he said.
SSGH In-Charge in-Charge Dr.
R G Aiyer said that the staff responsible for the incident had been identified.
“We have been looking for explanations from them and will ask this problem,” he said.
