Thiruvananthapuram: Anupama and Ajit Kumar, who fought against the battle to win their son who forcibly surrendered to adoption, officially registered their marriage at the PATTOM registrar office on Friday.
Ajith did not separate legally from his ex-wife when the child was born.
Since the child was born from Wedlock, Anupama’s parents did not accept it.
Anupama had alleged that his parents took his son and gave him the Child Welfare Council (CWC) from where he was given to a partner from Andhra Pradesh for foreign care.
Following his protest, the state government facilitates a child’s reunion with his biological parents.
Anupama and Ajith claimed that the child was given by CWC ignoring their recurring requests.
The duo made their baby back after the DNA test proved the child as theirs.
