Apple has many devices now in the Mac ranks.
From the MacBook Pro to IMAC, Apple has targeted various users who are looking for new computing machines.
However, it looks like Apple can add another Mac device in 2022.
According to Bloomberg’s Mark Gurman, Apple has a plan to reintroduce IMAC Pro in 2022.
In his weekly bulletin, Gurman said that the IMAC Pro could make a comeback with a processor that might occur similar to M1 Pro and M1 Max, which was found in the MacBook 2021 Pro.
At present, Apple has a 24-inch iMac redesigned in 2021.
“My hope is that we will get a new model this year which is greater than the current and branded 24-inch design As an IMAC Pro, “said Gurman in his bulletin.
He also said that he expected “New Imac Pro to have a similar design with the current IMAC M1.” Apple does have an IMAC 27 inch in the line up but is supported by an Intel processor.
In particular, it’s not a ‘pro’ variant of Apple’s imac that Apple has not been refreshing in several years.
So it might be possible that the IMAC Pro can come in a larger size and power by the Apple silicon chip itself.
Mac devices have done quite good for Apple.
During a recent income call, Apple reported that Mac had hit recording income for the last six quarters now.
Apple recorded revenues of $ 10.9 billion in the previous quarter and said that driven by strong demand for the new MacBook Pro was redesigned with M1.
Apple also said that most of the MAC sales came from M1-powered devices, which also helped push the record of the number of upgrades during the December quarter.
