Since, Apple launched the new iPhone 13 series in September this year, rumors around the next pocket-friendly smartphone the iPhone SE also heated up.
A new report by Chinese publication MyDrivers claims that the upcoming iPhone SE 3 will be the company’s last model to display LCD.
The next report shows that the smartphone will look similar to the iPhone XR which was launched again in 2018.
With that form factor, it’s easy to assume that the company plans to remove the complete touch ID feature.
This new report contradicts previous leaks related to smartphones by Japanese Apple Macotakara Blog.
As per blog, the iPhone SE 3 will not undergo a design change and will look similar to those currently sold on the market.
This means that the smartphone will have a 4.7-inch HD retina display along with the touch ID button.
Under the hood, the device is rumored to get the A15 Bionic chip with support for the 5G network.
Some other reports show that the new iPhone 3 will replace the ‘mini’ smartphone in the iPhone 14 lineup.
The mini series was first launched along with the iPhone 12 series and now the iPhone 13 series also has a mini smartphone.
Apple is reported to be killing the segment in the coming year because the device cannot create the desired response from the buyer.
