Apple will launch the iOS 15.1 update for the iPhone who qualifies on October 25, the company announced during the events released where it launched the New MacBook and AirPods.
Operating system updates have served for some time now and will be available for all iPhone models launched after 2015 and above the iPhone 6S.
Last week, the company launched the fourth beta iOS 15.1 to public developers for testing purposes.
As reported by the application developer, iOS 15.1 will bring the Shareplay feature that was first proposed by the company when the operating system was launched at WWDC in June.
This feature gives users the ability to stream movies, TV, music, and other media using FaceTime.
When users play media, playbacks begin to all groups simultaneously.
Updates will also allow users to record videos with Apple Prores Codecs.
As seen in beta, users will also get access to the toggle that controls automatic macro mode.
The company has also stopped signing a code for iOS 15.0.1.
This means that Apple iPhone users with new iOS 15.0.2 can no longer be downgraded.
Released this month alone, iOS 15.0.2 is focused on fixing some bugs that produce images that disappear, finding my application does not display airtag, audio applications do not run on Carplay, fail to recover the device and some other problems.
Apple regularly stopped the signing legacy code after making new iOS was launched because it allows the company to keep more devices on a feature-rich version and also protect users from hackers who try to use a newly discovered weak link.
Even though the company does not recommend a decrease in a longer iOS, iPhone users who jailbreak their devices often prefer this process.
