Arriar: The local court on Friday gave a death sentence to one Amar Kumar after he was found guilty of the milking and killing a little girl in 2019.
Kumar was also awarded a strict prison sentence to hide the proof and slap RS 3,000.
After not paying a fine, he had to serve a tight prison sentence for 10 days.
Kumar was found guilty of rape under Part 4 Pocso Act-2012, but he was not punished under the same action as quantum punishment under section 376-D & B greater than the violation carried out under the prevention of children from acting sexual violations .
Special Judge, Shashikant Roy, also ordered payment of Rs 10 Lakh to the family of the little girl from the “Victim Compensation Fund” through the Secretary, District Law Service Authority, Araria.
The grandmother of the 16-year-old girl has registered FIR against Kumar, accusing him of raping and killing his grandson on August 5, 2019.
According to Fir, the girl, a government school student, has been lost from A Fair.
He was found naked and died on a fair land.
The trial in this case lasted for nine months.
