Patna: The Chairman of the Minister of Nitish Kumar on Saturday asked the officials concerned to establish one 10 + 2 housing schools for other back-class (OBC) classes in each 38 countries.
Giving a meeting to review the back-class function (BC) and a very backward welfare class (EBC), CM also asked officials to accelerate the construction of the Thakur Karpori Thakur hostel in the districts.
JKT hostels are allocated for boys from the EBC category.
“Overall 27 JKT Hostels are operating throughout the state.
The other two hostels are ready, but have not been operational.
Other six hostel buildings are being built,” said an official of the Department of Welfare BC & EBC to Ti, added the department also run 14 hostels of welfare for OBC children.
CM also ordered direct payments from the rest of the scholarship / benefit to beneficiaries of the OBC category.
Nitish said the government would soon be starting to train and online class facilities for different competitive exams in all OBC welfare hostels, JKT hostels, hostels and minority hostels.
He asked officials to make all the settings needed in these hotels to start training and online classes.
“I have been told that some boys and girls benefit under the incentive scheme in the civil minister.
This is a matter of happiness,” CM said.
Students included in the SC, ST and EBC Bihar categories are given incentives of Rs 50,000 and Rs 1 Lakh in solving the initial BPSC and UPSC Prelims tests, under the Scheme of the main incentives of civil minister.
Incentives are provided to help students from weaker parts in the preparation of the main civil service inspection and interviews in a better way.
Secretary of the Kumar Pankaj Department of EBC and EBC Raise make detailed presentations before CM about different schemes status run by the department.
Deputy Minister of Welfare of CM-SM and EBC Renu Devi, Secretary of CM Deepak Kumar, Chief of Secretary of Tripurari Sharan, Commissioner of Development Amir Subhani, Additional Secretary Head (Education) Sanjay Kumar, Secretary of the Additional Head of Siddhartha and several other senior officials attended the review meeting.
