New Delhi: After the exchange of hotlines with the Indian Army, the Chinese People’s Liberation Army has indicated that they will soon submit the missing young man from Arunachal Pradesh, Law Minister Kiren Rijiju said on Wednesday.
“The delay was associated with their bad weather conditions on the side (China),” Minister said while providing details of the exchange between Indian Army and PLA officials on the occasion of the Republican Day.
He said PLA had assured that the date, time and where youth liberation would be intimidated soon.
Previously, Rijju had tweeted about the lost young man and said the Indian army had approached PLA sharing with their illustration of boys with other details.
“We constantly follow the case from the first day.
I begged everyone to be careful in making statements that are not based on facts because of the safety and return of our youth of Arunachal Pradesh is a priority,” he said.
Miram Taron, 19 years old from Jido Village in the Upper Livestock District, was lost on January 18 near Shiyung La (Bishing Area) which borders the actual control line.
After the Indian army approached PLA, the Chinese convinced that “they will look for individuals and return it according to the protocol established”, the Minister said.
On January 20, the Chinese had told Indian army officials that they had found an Indian boy on their side and asked for further details to determine his identity.
The lost boy report was first revealed when MP Arunachal East Tapir Gao wrote on Twitter on January 19 that a young man was kidnapped from within the Indian region.
