The Bombay High Court on Thursday that disposed of NCB Zonal Sameer Wankhede petition seeking temporary protection from the arrest and said that the 3-day notification will be given to him by Mumbai police.
NCB officer Sameer Wankhede on Thursday filed a petition in the Bombay High Court seeking assistance to the investigation and claiming that he was personally attacked by the Maharashtra government.

“I was personally attacked by the state.
My concern is that the state will arrest me anytime.
I want temporary protection in the form without coercive assistance,” Wankhede told the Bombay High Court.
Wankhede also demanded a probe transferred to CBI or any central agent in this matter.
“I’m not a drug vendor.
I’m a zonal director.
Give a probe to CBI or Nia but stop Vilification.
This section specifically requires the protection of a central government officer.
