Ghaziabad: A 10-month-old girl fell into a six-foot disposal adjacent to the Flyover Hindon in the Kaushambi area of Monday night.
The search had turned on for him since then, but he hasn’t been tracked when submitting this report.
Police said Sanoj Kumar, a 25-year-old worker from Vaishali Bihar, quarreled with his wife Reema (22) at around 10:45 a.m.
in their home in Bhowapur Village, after he took their daughter Jyoti and went to his friend’s place in Sector 62.
Reema began to follow They and asked Sanoj to restore Jyoti to him.
When the couple reaches the Hindon flyover near the gate, the heated argument broke.
During a fight, the child fell into the sewer, which flowed towards Delhi through Khoda.
“Reema lifted alarms and some locals hurried to help.
Sanoj tried to track children too but because of heavy water flow, he could not find it.
A police team arrived at the place.
Some divers were called and rescue operations began.
The search is still ongoing,” the officer said Circle Indirapuram Abhay Kumar Mishra.
When submitting this report, the rescue team is still looking for the girl.
Reema told Toi that her husband returned at around 7:30 a.m.
on Monday with liquor and cold water bottle.
“He consumed liquor and around 10:30 a.m., he came to me and said he wanted to empty our rental room set.
When I disagree, he began to beat me and my daughter.
He took him from the bed and started running,” he said.
He accused when he stopped him and asked him to return the girl, he refused and kicked him.
“When I tried to stop it, he threw my daughter to the sewer,” he said.
On the basis of his complaint, a FIR has been submitted against the Sanoj under the IPC part of 304 (a punishment for the guilty murder does not amount to murder) at Kaushambi Police Station, said Sho Sachin Malik.
