Jaipur: Chairman of the Ashok Minister Gehlot discussed the appointment of Chancellor’s representative at the State University with the Governor of Kalaraj Mishra at the last residence on Monday.
Gehlot mainly discussed the possibility of candidates for Maharishi Dayanand Saraswati University in Ajmer.
The meeting has also fanished speculation of cabinet expansion in the state.
The official statement from the Governor House stated that the meeting was a courtesy call by Gehlot.
The source said that Gehlot went there to find the governor’s cooperation in the appointment of Chancellor and Amendments who tended to bring the next assembly session.
