Vadodara: Assistant Sub-Inspector (ASI) of the Dahod City Police Station and a gentle prison of Godhra prison arrested through two different traps placed by the Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) on Sundays.
A man approached ACB with a complaint that Chauhan Badaa’s milk on November 17 demanded Rs 10,000 as bribes to resolve the case.
The complainant has kidnapped a man from Madhya Pradesh because he had not paid Rs 1 lakh for the settlement of the case as promised.
When the male family approached the Dahod City Police Station, Chauhan called the complainant and asked him to produce his kidnapped man.
When bringing the man to the police station, Chauhan intervened between the two parties and made them achieve settlement.
Then, Chauhan demands Rs 20,000 from the complainant by saying that he can face the allegations of kidnapping.
After negotiations, Chauhan agreed to receive Rs 10,000.
But when the complainant doesn’t want to pay for bribes, he approaches ACB.
ACB Sleuth put the trap and after the complainant gave a number of bribes to Chauh in the police station, ACB officials reached there and arrested red choke.
In another case, a sponge prison was arrested for taking money from inmates at the time of their release on a guarantee.
ACB officials said that after receiving information about the corrupt practice of Hitesh Rabari they planted a bait prisoner in sub-prison.
When the bait got a guarantee and he would leave the prison on Sunday, Rabari asked him to give him Rs 500.
The Facoy gave him the RS 500 and Rabari record to return Rs 100 to him.
ACB Sleuths immediately entered the cabin Rabari and arrested him along with bribes.
