Ulhasnagar: Thane’s anti-corruption bureau has arrested the assistant Commissioner of Anil Khaturii City (50) from Ulhasnagar Municipal Corporation (UMC) to demand 50,000 rs bribes in Ulhasnagar on Monday.
This was the second trap in two weeks at UMC when a senior level official was arrested for taking bribes.
ACB officials said that complainants who were developers by the profession were building a house in Ulhasnagar.
Sources say that Khentali demands a bribe of Rs 50,000 from the complainant.
