Mumbai: The Covid graph of Maharashtra and Mumbai daily reflects the effects of weekends on Monday because less tests than usually done and daily cases drop significantly.
The state added 2,432 cases, the lowest in 231 days since February 8 (2,216), and 32 deaths.
Mumbai also reported 376 cases, under 400 cases reported for five days.

“We conducted 30,692 tests in the city and the positivity of the daily test was 1.2%,” said Suresh Kakani, commissioner of additional BMC Municipal.
Kakani said more tests would be carried out on weekdays because BMC had begun to test 20 high-risk contacts from each positive patient.

State government officials said cases in the state have added and declined.
