At 97%, Tripura has the highest 1-dose coverage in Ne

Agartala: Along with other countries, the northeastern state is awaiting official instructions from the center to start vaccination for children in the age group 2-18.
Active work to map the population in this group in their respective regions.
On the other hand, between seven Ne countries, Tripura has the highest coverage of single vaccination among the population in the 18-plus age group, while Manipur is at the bottom of the list.
In Tripura, among 25 adult populations of Lakh, 97% of them have received at least one dose, while 67% have been fully vaccinated, which is also the highest in the region.
Tripura has a population of 9.94 lakh people above 45 plus the age group and 16.3 lakh in the age group 18-44.
Until now, more than 25 adults lakh had been given the first dose of vaccines, while 14.33 lakh had received both doses.
In Assam, from a population that qualified 2.33 crore in the 18-plus group, 1,96.87,331 had received the first dose, while 65,00,549 was fully vaccinated.
While the first dose coverage in the state is more than 84%, only 27% of the eligible population that fully vaccinated.
In Manipur, 12,33,103 has received the first dose while 5.61,694 has received both doses.
In Nagaland, 6.97,456 received one dose and 4,23,059 was fully vaccinated.
In Meghalaya, the number of people who have received at least one dose is 10,83,684 while 5.36.132 has received both doses.
At Arunachal Pradesh, 7.64,333 was vaccinated with a single dose, while 4,76,553 had received both doses.
In Mizoram, 7.02.750 people have received the first dose and 4.79,147 have received both doses.
