Imphal: The tension gripping the Gamnom B area in the Kangpokpi Manipur district after several criminals, allegedly as Kuki’s guerrilla, allegedly fired a shot, killing four civilians, including the Head of MP Khullen Village and a small child, on Tuesday.
The villagers held a meeting to eradicate the death of four Kuki’s guerrillas who were shot down in the Dam Maphou area nearby by security forces on Sunday when criminals suddenly fired them, said a source.
Another small child, who suffered an injury in the attack, was rushed to the hospital.
Many regional villagers, fear of further attacks by criminals, have rushed to safer places.
Massive search operations have been launched by the state and central forces to track criminals.
