Patna: Criminal efforts to open automatic teller machines (ATMs) from public sector banks with the help of gas cutters becomes very wrong when the engine accidentally caught fire.
The incident occurred at Kaini Bazaar under the Manjhagarh police station in the Gopalganj district around 2am on Sunday.
Bank officials said the ATM contained cash 43,000 in cash.
A pine was put forward to the police station Manjhagarh by Kiosk’s ATM caregiver, Santosh Kumar Yadav, who was told about the incident of the local population.
Gopalganj aware Sdpo Sanjeev Kumar claimed criminals trying to cut the machine with a gas cutter, but escaped to see a police patrol car.
“The gas cutter they left near the cash expenditure area caught fire.
Apart from the engine and cash, the air conditioner installed at the kiosk was also broken hearted.” Sdpo said the CCTV camera was installed in the ATM kiosk lying dead.
“We scan the recording of CCTV cameras installed in the neighborhood.
Some locals told the police that they saw the SUV near the ATM kiosk in the morning.
Efforts to identify criminals involved in the incident and arrest them,” he added.
