Vadodara: The day after the suicide victim’s diary revealed that he had been sexually attacked by two autorickshaw drivers in the city, the police had launched a search operation to track the defendant.
In the last 24 hours, the police have scan the profile of hundreds of automatic drivers and start collecting details of those accused of several or other violations.
“Our priority is to track automatic drivers reportedly attacking the 18-year-old girl at the Ground Institute Vaccine.
Our team will go through an automatic driver profile that has registered to register for them.
Also, we have a CCTV footage area where the attack is thought to occur,” said A senior police officer.
“We tried to find out the automatic rickshaw passing on the road during the period when the girl was attacked.
Every automatic driver seen in the area will be questioned.
Also, the cellphone that is active in the area and the calls made are also being scanned,” officially added.
