Mangaluru: On the occasion of World Cancer Day, the cancer awareness program was held at the Hospital & Research Center in collaboration with the AJ Institute of Medical Sciences, Mangaluru City Police and Chapter Mangaluru Society-Mangaluru.
The program was inaugurated by Hariram Shankar, DCP (Law & Order), Nataraj, ACP (Traffic), AJ Shetty, Chairperson, Group Concerns Aj, President Shetty, Vice President, Medical Director, Hospital & Research Center, Dr.
Ashok Hegde, Dean, AJ Institute of Medical Sciences, by turning on traditional lights.
DCP Hariram Shanker expressed his gratitude to the Hospital AJ and the Indian Cancer Society, Chapter Mangaluru, for extending their support in providing awareness about cancer and free cancer screening tests for police personnel, and urged police personnel to use the program.
