Varanasi: Police Komisiancah holds two bearers of the Bajrang Dal (BD) office on Saturday to display a poster that contains a message that “only Hindus must visit the alley along the Ganges River”.

Police Commissioner Satish Ganesh said that two people, who were seen in photos when attached to posters in Ghats, were identified as Rajan Gupta and Nikhil Tripathi.
“They were issued a notification below 107/16 CRPC for violating peace on Friday.
Both were taken to ACP court at the police line, where they gave a personal bond of each RS 5 lakh, after which they were released,” he added.
During the initial investigation, the Carrier of the Senior Vishwa Hindu Parishad Office was asked to clarify the status of Gupta, which made himself a secretary of the VHP City Unit, and Tripathi, who filed himself as Convenar City of Bajrang Dal.
