Thiruvananthapuram: Banks in the Regency in the Priority Sector are disbursed by Rs.
2,705 Crore for 3 months to 2021.
Out of total disbursement, RS.
1,523 Crore is for Agriculture, Rs 1,036 Crore for the MSME sector and RS 146 Crore for other priority sectors.
Presented at the second quarter quarter quarterly level review committee meeting for the fiscal year 2021-22 for the district organized by Indian foreign banks on Thursday.
The loan deposit ratio from the district is 64% on the 2021.
Total deposits for the district are Rs.10.1749 Crore and total advance RS.64,760 crore in June, 30.
Advances to the priority sectors are Rs.
25, 317 Crore which is 39% of total progress.
The meeting was held through video conferencing.
Dr.Shashi Tharoor MP inaugurated the meeting.
He directs all banks to take effective improvement steps to increase loan disbursement on agricultural loans and education.
He also congratulated banks to achieve the average pro target and urged the bankers to translate the same for human satisfaction.
He commented that payments in sanctions loans for self-help groups are regular compared to other sectors.
