The Gaekwads also composed a letter to the then railways minister Piyush Goyal and encouraged him to put brakes on the job.
Shortly, other notable Barodians stepped .
Sanjeev Shah, a chartered accountant and also ex-director of Container Corporation of India Ltd, took up the problem with the railroad.
Joshi, co-convenor of Gujarat Chapter of Indian National Trust for Art and Cultural Heritage (INTACH) wrote to the director general of National Academy of Indian Railways (NAIR) and encouraged him to alter the positioning of the planned construction.
Vadodara MP Ranjan Bhatt overly raised the issue at the Parliament in September This past Year.
Bhatt said through the hour a tall building opposite Palace could impact the attractiveness of this construction and suggested an alternate site be chosen for the exact same.
