When Ashleigh Barty scored the tennis court in 2022 Australia opened on the way to a historic title victory in the land of the house, some of her friends, who happened to be Cricketers and golfers, glued to the TV screen that was around the 22-yard cricket pitch and at Golf Greens.
On Saturday Barty ended waiting for 44 years of his country for another Australian Open Champion woman, as Chris O’Neil – the last winner of the Australian open woman in 1978 – clapped from the stands in Melbourne Park.
“It was only an extraordinary trip over the past 20 years regarding tennis balls but especially the last five or six years in the second phase of my career,” said Barty, who also won the 2019 French match and the 2021 Wimbledon title.
But “hitting tennis balls” is not that the 25-year-old Barty has done over the past two decades.
He is both adept at riding cricket and golf balls.

But in the same year he decided to switch the racket to Willow at the Western suburb district cricket club in Brisbane.
It didn’t take long for him to get a contract with the club, thank you for half a century in one of his opening games.
Hitting skills attracted the attention of the Big Bakaran Women’s team Brisbane signed it for the first season in 2015-16, where he played nine matches.

He averaged 46.60 which was impressive with bats.
But tennis will be grateful for the change in Barty’s mind even though there is a successful start in professional cricket.
He immediately returned to the sport he played as a young girl and took a tennis racket again.
With a historic degree in Australia Open, Barty has now won three of the four grand slams, with only the US open to conquer.

From a very early age, Australians are encouraged to play many sports and overall culture abroad countries see children try their hands in various sports.
However, Barty’s Tryst with golf can be called incidental, even though his father has represented Australia as amateurs.
After the Covid-19 scale sports calendar worldwide by 2020, Barty decided to test the green on the golf course after choosing to get out of the open France and we opened a pandemic concern.
