Trichy: Nagapattinam District Administration has announced that worshipers will not be permitted to attend the Basilican Basilican Festival of the Shrine Lady of Health in Velankni considering Covid-19.
This festival, which is scheduled to be held between August 29 and September 8, will be carried out.
Taking a signal from the state government order that prohibits people from visiting the religious institute on Friday, Saturday and Sunday to August 31 to reduce the public movement, the district government on Tuesday announced that the Basilican annual festival would be carried out by management without worshipers.
