Kolkata: The CBI on Tuesday questioned the actor and ghatal MP Dev for almost five hours at his Nizam Palace office in connection with the case of cross-border livestock smuggling.
According to sources in the CBI, the name DEV appeared in the defendant’s report.
Appearing from the CBI office, MP, in his first reaction, said he hoped never to be called (by agency again).
“Not much happened.
They (CBI officers) want to record my statement and they do that.
I never recognize the two haque (accusing the key in this case), I also did not take the prize from him.
However, I can’t say more because This problem is being investigated.
I will work with agency, “Dev said.
MP reached Nizam Palace around 10.50 in the morning and went straight to the 15th floor office from the Central Investigation Agency.
The CBI officer tried to assess his proximity to the main charges.
The luxury environment in Tiljala, Haque is close to some influential people in the city.
He even made a breakthrough into the political circuit.
“Trinamool Congress workers must appear before the CBI.
We are not afraid of it,” said Kolkata Mayor Firhad Judge.
The development occurred a day after Dev Tweeted the recognition he had received from Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla for his services during a pandemic.
During the period he had created an isolation room, bed and arranged treatment for Covid-19 patients in his election.
In ghatal, he regulates oximeter and oxygen pulse for people in house isolation.
He has also arranged food packages for those in need.
