Bengaluru: City Police on Wednesday flipped 21 autorickshaw drivers outside of various metro stations in East Bangaluru for refusing to stab and demand excess fees from passengers.
Overall, Rs 10,500 was collected from them in the form of fine.
A social media post by the police announced the crackdown drawing mixed response.
A driver automatically asked the police not to brand all drivers just as bad as a mistake.
“We find it difficult to find passengers.
When this is the problem, who will ask for extra money?” He asked Twitter.
